报告摘要:
A switch is one of typical input interfaces. There are various types of switches, depending on the purpose and preference. In this speech, I will introduce a film type of touch panel switch which can be bended, added, and deleted. Next, multi switch is introduced. This is a switch replaced with a push button or a toggle switch instead of touch switch. This makes it possible to easily make an arbitrary switch according to user's preference. On the other hand, recently, the demand for non-contact switch is increasing. However, non-contact switch sometimes malfunctions. Thus, a new signal code for non-contact action is proposed. By applying a code to waving hand, it is possible to easily practice a plurality of non-contact operations without malfunction.
报告人简介:
Prof. Seiichi Serikawa received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electronic Engineering from Kumamoto University in 1984 and 1986, respectively. He earned his Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from Kyushu Institute of Technology in 1994. Currently, he serves as a professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Kyushu Institute of Technology. His research interests include computer vision, sensors, artificial intelligence, and robotics. He is a member of IEICE, IEEJ, and IIAE, and serves as the president of the Institute of Industrial and Application Engineers (IIAE).
Prof. Serikawa has published over 400 research papers in the fields of intelligent sensing, artificial intelligence, and robotics in journals such as IEEE Transactions, Remote Sensing, and Sensors. He is also highly skilled in industrial implementation and, as the president of IIAE, actively promotes the industrial application of cutting-edge engineering technologies.
