Under the guidance of the leading group of academic review and interview for international students, the International Affairs Office is responsible for organizing and carrying out the work of academic review and interview for international students applying to our college.

Under normal circumstances, the college will organize admission assessments separately for both undergraduate applicants and graduate applicants.

Specific assessments are required as follows:

1. The application materials will be used for comprehensive assessment of undergraduate student admission.

2. For graduate student admission, the assessment will be the combination of comprehensive evaluation of application materials and online interview.

3. Undergraduate student admission will focus on the assessment of Chinese language proficiency, English language proficiency, secondary school academic performance, specialty and so on.

4. Graduate student admission will focus on Chinese language proficiency, English language proficiency, professional learning ability, scientific research experience and ability, specialty and so on.

The day and time of assessment and other arrangements will be released annually on the web page of the college and informed by e-mails.

Special Reminder: 

1. For students applying for a master’s or doctoral program, please make sure to obtain an acceptance letter from one of our college tutors in advance. The application can be made to our graduate student supervisor or the International Affairs Office of CIE & CAI. After preliminary review, the acceptance letters will be sent to those who meet the requirements.

2. For the major of Software Engineering, all the courses will be taught in English, while the courses for the other majors will be taught in Chinese together with Chinese students. Therefore, one special recommendation is for you to apply for master's or doctoral program of Software Engineering as your first choice.
